Scientific research had been carried out within the Precarpathian salt-bearing soils province spread. The purpose is to determine the basic patterns (factors) of the development and activation of negative geological processes (salt karst) that arose as a result of anthropogenic mining intervention in the geological environment during the extraction of potassium or food salt.
At this days the relevance of the study of the factors of activation of salt karst is very important because during extraction of salt deposits on the first position not arise the issue of the genesis of the deposit, its development or processing of raw materials, the economic feasibility of carrying out certain measures, but the conduct of safe operation of mines. In total over 80 cases of accidental death of mines are known in case their flooding and the subsequent negative impact on the environment connected with. These accidents exist in the world practice for the all period of underground salt production. Therefore, the areas within the impact of the mines belong to areas of high engineering and geological risk, with a potentially high likelihood of intensive karst development. And measures to prevent or reduce the negative impact of salt production are certainly a priority, both at the stage of mining and at the stage of planning and preparation for operation.
In the work performed is the scientifically substantiated: for the first time identified the several definite objective laws of the development of salt karst, the main causes of its activation, measures to prevent or reduce the negative impact from it, and also suggested an element of improvement of monitoring observations in the territories of its development.
